Internal kaleidoscope
Commands of a misanthrope
What have you, I do not?
This lifeless pursuit of thought
Beneath, the faucet creaks
Exposed, my freedom leaks
Erupt by candlelight
These vibrant shades of sight
Reflecting the power shines
Conceal yours, this is fine
Unfazed, a paragon
Agitation an idol pawn
Neglect, a planned obstruction
Capacity of abduction
Fatigue, my illusion
Rescued by your god delusion
Nausea, a faceless fraud
Help me I pray to god
Frustration my own freedom
Crafted intent to mistreat them
Nausea, a faceless fraud
Numbness I swear to god
Caged in, retrieving the feeding
Disrupt, rotten, and excreting
Decomposing it slowly leaves my periphery
Yet with my conscious gone I can’t repress this urge again
Perception at will, welcome to this pose once more
Rotting from the stench I hope these chills will not endure
Constraint, welcome mine
Intact marked as I resign
Ignored, as I collapse
Still bemused, a collective relapse
Lied and mocked, doomed to despair, exploit my hope
Onward to another day before my life ends again, just an ornament of freedom

Jordan Vauvert
I was always intrigued by this group's choice of album covers, it isn't every day that you see high quality space photos in this genre despite the rise of "cosmic" black metal. But the music blew me away, this sounds like Austere took the atmospheric spacey route. (I will assume it's a coincidence that both bands are Australian) porcelainheart-
Jordan Vauvert
Tokyo band contrast black metal's brutal complexity with shoegaze's abyssal grandeur, resulting in an LP that feels crushing, yet infinite. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 24, 2022
